Ars Technica: Broadcast flag rears vile head, bars viewer from recording. Too bad the broadcast flag is only defined for ATSC and thus cannot be carried over DirecTV. This is probably a CGMS-A problem and thus you should take up Macrovision’s monopoly power with the FTC, not the FCC.
